General aspects of Penetration Testing in ICS/SCADA

Regarding prevention of security attacks on Critical Infrastructures, security audits and penetration tests have a key role to play, as a means of timely verification and detection of both procedural and organizational vulnerabilities, as well as technical ones, in order to reduce the risk of attacks by improving posture and remedying vulnerabilities identified before being exploited by potential attackers.
